This BQ riding could now be vulnerable to going down. Gilles Duceppe and Pauline Marois were here today. That tells me the BQ is worried they are losing support in this area or they wouldn't be using up valuable time here on their last weekend before the election.

The Bloc will easily keep this riding despite the fact that the CPC has a star candidate here. His flip-flopping regarding the gun registry won't be a factor as he never had a chance to win this seat anyway. Incumbency matters A LOT in this riding, and the incumbent MP is running again... enough said.

The Conservative candidate here is creating controversy over his position on the gun registry. Previously when he was a police officer he was in favour of keeping the registry, but now that he is running for the Conservatives he says he wants to abolish the registry.
