Réélection facile pour Yvan Loubier. Il est un député très impliqué et apprécié dans son comté. Le candidat libéral est exécrable et a un dossier judiciaire. Problablement que Donalda,oups, Andrée Champagne arrivera en deuxième, mais loin derrière Yvan Loubier.

Last Saturday on May 15th, the Conservative Party announced their candidate in the riding of St-Hyacinthe-Bagot. Her name: Andrée Champagne, former minister in the Mulroney's government and star militant for the NO campaign in 1980 referendum. She chose this riding because was MP in that area when she was in Parliament during the 80's. That currently wouldn't influence the BQ's lead in the riding, but could make the race a little more interesting.

Le Bloc Québécois devrait conserver cette circonscription comme l'a fait le PQ en avril 2003. En 2000, avec le redécoupage, le BQ l'aurait emporté avec près de 56% des votes. C'est donc un siège bloquiste sûr.

Loubier est une vedette du caucus bloquiste. La circonscription fédérale couvre une partie des circonscriptions provinciales de Johnson et St-Hyacinthe, qui sont quand même restées du côté du Parti Québécois en 2003 et ce même après leur pire défaite depuis 1985. Le coin restera vraisemblablement bloquiste au niveau fédéral.

Avec les majorités bloquistes obtenues au cours des dernières années par les bloquistes, nul doute que le Bloc aura une avance très confortable ici !

Comme d'habitude, le député Yvan Loubier n'aura pas trop de difficulté à se faire élire.
