This riding is federalist and is to a certain extent more right-wing than the provincial average, but Mario Laframboise's local popularity will keep the riding in Bloc hands by a comfortable margin.

It is true the Liberals almost won this in 2000, but lets remember, the Liberals were ahead of the Bloc Quebecois in Quebec. Today, they are trailing by 20-30 points so there is no way the Liberals will win this. It won't even be close this time around.

Victoire Libéral avec un très faible majorité, ce comté a voter avec de très faible majorité BQ à l'exception de la dernière élection. Les comtés provincial qui sont situé dans ce comté fédéral, Argenteuil qui a toujours voté libéral et Papineau pareil à l'exception d'une seule fois. Cependant il est délimité par des comtés qui sont tous Souvrainiste. Alors chaude lutte à prévoir!

The liberals almost won this one in 2000, but that was when polling numbers were a lot better for them in Quebec. This time around, there is no way they will even come close to winning any of the near misses in 2000 since the liberals are at an all time low in Quebec.
