The Adequistes did pose a threat here, but not to the point of scoring swaths of upsets like elsewhere in the Montreal area--as separatist strongholds go, it's *that* strong. And it would take a Mulroney-scale 200+-seat CPC victory to take this one away, too. |

This riding might not be a Mount Royal in terms of win margins, but it is within the range that someone could mistake it for that. The BQ won here big time last election, this was within the top half-dozen ridings. They BQ will win again. |
