Having grown up in this riding, it is a no brainer that this will go Conservative. I suspect that the wide margin of victory by which Anderson won in 2004 will be even greater this time around. Expect him to command 70% of the vote here. |

Quite right, this riding has been conservative for years, even in the provincial elections where the party has done poorly, they've won ridings here. this is the most conservative riding in the province. |

Even when the NDP used to be strong in Saskatchewan, this riding still went Conservative. If I am not mistaken, even after several of the Devine cabinet ministers were arrested the Provincial PCs still held this area. Also this is only one of two ridings where all of the provincial ridings within its boundaries went Saskatchewan Party. This adds up to an easy Conservative win. Rural Saskatchewan is conservative to start with, but the further South one heads, the bigger the margins are. |
