I think the area used to be a swing region following the leading party at the provincial level. However, this place has swung only in favour of the Bloc Québécois since '93, and that shouldn't stop this year.

This is largely a Francophone suburb so with the liberals being in the low teens amongst Francophone voters, don't expect them to do much better here. Easy Bloc Quebecois win.

This is already a pretty solid nationalist riding - the provincial riding of Vachon almost went Liberal in 2003, so it will follow trends, but the trends provincially are towards the BQ, not the Liberals. Lavallée will easily carry this riding again. In fact, the BQ could run a monkey and still win. The only question I have is who the Liberals will parachute in this time.
