This will be a pure blowout. Doing work in this riding during the Conservative leadership race elightened me to just how solid the support for the CPC is.

A new riding made up of bits and bobbs from four ridings that all had strong Alliance wins last time. It doesn't take a psychic to figure out that this will likely be a Conservative keep.

The Liberals are about as alive in these rural Alberta ridings as the Tories are in Montreal.

Parts of 4 Conservative MP's ridings are in this new riding. The combined CA-PC vote was north of 80%. The Conservatives could run Bin Laden wrapped in Blue, and he'd get elected here. Regardless of who runs, this will be a party vote, and the party they will vote for is the Conservatives.

The Conservatives have a 70% margin of error. I think they'll hold this one.
