easy win for Tom Christensen of the Liberals. It would no surprise if the NDP did not seriously campaign here.

Even with the incubment not seeking re-election and a new Liberal candidate the fact remains that the entire Okanagan valley voted Liberal in 1996 and that isn't about to change in 2001 - this one might be the closest in the region but probably still at least 4000-5000 vote margin
