Once midelection reports of a Harper Quebec polling bubble came out, it was clear where this seat was headed--in the end, the third best Tory result (and one of four majority results) in Quebec. Note, too, that this is where BQ MP Yvan Loubier made his provincial PQ parachute--only to be utterly annihilated by the ADQ incumbent.

Jacques Gourde won this by landslide. It's very interesting to note that the Liberals finished 4th in the riding, below the NDP. I don't think this riding will change hands.

Based on the past federal election and provincial election, this riding seems too conservative to possibly flip back to the BQ. Even if the Tory numbers do fall considerably by election day, they should hold this. The question is will they scrape by, or win in a massive landslide.
