| If he were any old N Ontario clone, Ben Serre might have been gnawed down by Reform and perhaps NDP to around the 40th or 45th percentile in '97; but by opposing Bill C-68 and listening to the will of his constituents, he kept his 60% base--now the best Lib result in the North! And now by being on the right side of the Adams Mine dump mess, he'll sure as heck remain, not that he had reason for fear before... |
