Michael Cooper was first elected in 2015 when he beat independent former cpc mp Brent Rathgeber and re elected in 2019. Riding has been conservative for some time federally so likely to stay cpc.

My home riding so thought I should put something here, though there is not much to say. Easy Conservative win in the Tory heartland, even though the incumbent is very underwhelming IMO.

Safe Con, but in a typical urban-Edmonton ‘asterisked’ way, wherein 60%-ish was the '19 *ceiling*. Cooper didn't, as I ‘allowed for’, fall below '15 last time--but he could in today's Kenney-backlash climate. But falling below '15 isn't falling, period.
