Not a projection, but a note.
The Libertarians are running their leader here. Moen has been able to capture a huge amount of attention - for a nowhere party. It's not unfathomable that he could take 5% or more in the riding.
He can't win though, the Tories will win.
Also, a note to the editing staff, the Libertarians have changed logos since the last election, and now use a yellow leaf logo, not the green triangle.
The Libertarians are also running a 'near full slate' in Alberta, and I would not be surprised to see them take, at least, 2% provincewide in the election, if not upwards of 3% or 4%.

Rob Anders outa there = less EPP hand-wringing, wishful thinking, etc etc etc. Or at least, any of *that* would have been fleetingly inherited by the immediate Notley-election aftermath, when *nothing* in urban Alberta seemed sacred. (As usual: that was then...)

CPC hold, Liepert is very high profile.

24.146.23.226
An open riding after conservative mp Rob Anders lost nomination to Ron Liepert a former alberta pc mla. Some Calgary ridings might be closer than 2011 but still more likely to go cpc . also after news this week that wildrose won Calgary foothills by-election it appears ndp momentum over in Calgary and politics returning to normal here. Ron Liepert is a high profile candidate and should hold this riding .

Threehundredeight's polling aggregation is now suggesting that this riding is a toss up with the Liberals and is actually tipping red. While I'm not convinced yet that the Liberals will be competitive here, I am looking at Calgary ridings with new interest.

Another riding where polling shows the Liberals behind by only 5 points. I'm quite surprised by this. While I'm saying a CPC hold, there is the potential for an upset.

There are competitive ridings in Calgary now, but this definitely isn't one of them.
