Just re-enforcing my earlier statements. Now that we are in the last 48 hours of the election, we can more easily see that the Tories have indeed held on to the polling lead (and are very likely to therefore hold on to their seats)
Jones will make a fine Cabinet Minister

David Jones is the Conservative's highest ranking member from Wales in Westminster. Although the notional results from last time have him winning very narrowly, remember that in general, Labour is down this election while the Tories are up. Jones, as the highest ranking member from Wales (he is in the Shadow Cabinet) has a seat saved for him at the Cabinet table. The Welsh will know this and will want to ensure their voice is heard. The Conservatives will hold on to this seat, and likely extend a margin here greater than their nationwide results.
