The areas carried over from the old Pontiac-Labelle riding were the only real separatist areas (which makes the current Pontiac riding, percentage-wise, the worst Bloc Quebecois riding outside of the West Island of Montreal). They just add icing on the cake for the Bloc here - separatist stronghold which will stay that way. Like most of rural Quebec, it won't be close here. Predicted results: BQ 65%, LIB 23%, NDP 5%, CPC 4%, others 3%. |
