From the coverage on tv and in the broadsheet papers it seems clear that in West Renfrewshire(where I live) that James Sheridan, the Labour candidate is the most popular candidate. |

This seat was held by Tommy Graham, who up into 1998 was a Labour MP. He was kicked out of Labour for causing disrepute to Labour. Since then, he has been a 'Scottish Labour' MP. He had planned to run as an 'Scottish Labour' candidate. Knowing this, I had thought the SNP would win due to a SSP/Lab/Scottish Labour split. Now Graham has failed to turn in his nonmation papers, this will be a Labour hold. |
