Top Natural Law seat in the UK (651 votes) in 1997, for a yogic campaigner named Blair - no doubt another one of the PM's fun relatives. (Though not as much fun as Billy Beer!) Also top Chinese seat, for what it's worth. (See BBC election web site). But seeing as how Natural Law (nor the Kuomintang) are contesting Maryhill, Labour will retain this seat (which they held easily vs SNP in 1999)with a new candidate (replacing Maria Fyfe, the tempest-tost MP who dissed Sir Sean C as anti-woman) a solicitor parachuted in from . . . Kelvinside!

The Labour candidate, Ann McKechin, is from Paisley, not Kelvinside.
