This is the seat of Labour's "Beast of Bolsover" Dennis Skinner. It is a former mining area and neither the Tories nor the Lib Dems will even come close to Labour here. It will however be interesting to see whether the Tories keep second place against the Lib Dems. |

No question that Labour will win here. Dennis Skinner has a hegemony here which is unbreakable. I think the Commons would be worse off without him, though I rarely agree with him in sentiment or on policy. |
