Cashore's not popular enough to keep this riding. Liberal pick-up. |

With a strong candidate, this is a riding that will go liberal along with many others. |

As much as John Cashore is a decent and honourable man (and I do not know if he is running again), this is riding that is ripe for a Liberal win. The NDP federally were wiped out here. This should be a Liberal win by 15 percentage points or more. |

Richard Stewart is a strong candidate who will also benefit from the Christy Clark factor. Richard Stewart has the opportunity to shine in the first term, and may be a cabinet contender in the latter part of his first term, and definite potential if he was to be a 2 term winner. |

Richard Stewart is a dynamic candidate for the BC Liberals. He'll clean up on the NDP in Coquitlam-Maillardville. |

Richard Stewart makes my skin crawl. I don't think that he even stops smiling in his sleep. The sad thing is he'll probably get in. Do people know that he was involved with the leaky condos. It takes money to run a gov't. How can Cambell give people tax cuts when he's going to run a huge defecit. The Liberals don't deserve to run our province!! |

The NDP candidate has been reduced to running fear-mongering ads in the local paper, writing fake articles with 2003 datelines, predicting all manner of doom and gloom. I've seen a lot of negative ads in politics over the years, but these ones are truly the bottom of the barrel. It is truly ironic that the party that complains most about "American style" this and that ends up running ads precisely like those that surface in ugly U.S. campaigns. None of this is helping Landgraff, however, who has also poisoned any chance he had of running in the future with a campaign this dirty. |
