A common Bloq-seat formula: super-duper Trudeau Grit, than super-duper Mulroney PC, then the BQ pushed 60% and knocked the PC incumbent out of deposit range in '93, and then after the '97 Duceppe hairnet dust settled BQ was humbled into high 30s, with Lib at low 30s and Charest's PCs settling into mid-20s. At such a low level, it ought to look shaky; but within Quebec City's metropolitan orbit, they can probably count on Uncle Lucien to see otherwise... |

This Quebec City suburban and partly rural riding is not die hard sovereignist. Middle class last time showed Charest support which will not likely go Bloc this time. |
