Though rifled through with outer-Outaouais Anglos and Morin Heights-style cottage country, it contains enough suburban Montreal Bloqzillas like Mirabel to anchor this fairly safely in the BQ column. Oh, and Oka's here, too... |

Bloc didn't win huge here in '97... only by 7%, but I haven't seen any reason for the Liberals to be overtaking the BQ around here so far... For now I leave it as a BQ re-take, but things could change... |

Since Lise Bourgault is back for another kick at the can, there is a slight possibility of an upset in the making. She has big election machine cojones and made lots of friends as a PC goombah for many years.She spread mega bux around when she was in power.Could be fun to see the dust fly. Besides Bloc Laframboise is from Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix. Mucho hinterland. |

if Lib candidate can get most of PC vote can win - perhaps better chance since former Pc if Bloc holds this seat then spells trouble for Liberals outside of Montreal |
