Rugged, coastal, outermost Lotus Land sublimity, all-but-solid NDP yesteryear, even more all-but-solid Alliance today. |

Hiking through this area last summer, I was greeted with startling frequency by signs shouting "Overthrow the NDP" and "Arrest Glen Clark." Wrecking holy vengence upon the NDP has become an obsession for people in this area. Sadly for Alexa and company, they are facing the electorate before the real culprits of their downfall. The NDP here is kaput, thanks to Clark. |

Solidaly Alliance. Even before the other parties had nominated the Alliance had signs everywhere. |

Alex Turner (NDP) stands the best chance of defeating the incumbent Reformer-turned-CAer. But only a concentrated Turner campaign team and a whole lot of strategic votes for Turner by Liberals and others upset at Alliance policies would make that happen. |
