Grant McNally will be reelected here, he is an able MP and is visible in the riding. |

The N Shore of the Fraser has tended to be less Socred-firebrand than the S shore, more amenable to NDP MLAs and MPs (remember Joy Langan knocking off Gerry St. Germain in '88?) Which explains why, rather than a 60%+ mandate like Messrs White & Strahl, MacNally earned a more sensible-shoes 47%. And now Gerry St. G's on side, Stock's close by, and expect the 50% line to be crossed... |

Now while the riding will elect a CA MP, the Liberals will emerge as the main option. Look at them to get close to 40%. |
