The Star Wars over two "John Williams" candidates are about the biggest press this fairly standard urb-ru Alliance rubber stamp race will get. That there've been Decore-era Liberal MLAs here gives faint cause for Grit hope--but not much. Not much at all. |

"The Real John Williams" will take this one easily, despite NDP efforts to try and confuse Alliance members. Although that's not to say that a well organized Liberal campaign couldn't mount a threat. In the 1997 provincial election, the PC candidate won by only 16 votes, which should show you that St. Albert all that far away from Redmonton... |
